Our Story
Why Sherpa Camp Exists
A family project born from a love of wild places, quiet mornings, and the belief that the best memories happen off the grid.
Sherpa Camp began as a simple idea: build a place where families could reconnect with nature, with each other, and with the kind of quiet that's becoming harder to find.
We're not a hotel chain or a property management company. We're a family who fell in love with these mountains and wanted to share them—thoughtfully, carefully, and with intention.
Our Values
Our Philosophy
We believe the best hospitality is invisible. A well-stocked kitchen. A fire that's easy to start. A creek that's always flowing. A place that feels like it was waiting for you.
We're stewards of this land, not just hosts. Every decision we make—from the books on the shelf to the trails we recommend—is rooted in a deep love for these mountains.
The Place
The Land
Sherpa Camp sits on a quiet stretch of Upper Holly Creek, surrounded on all sides by U.S. National Forest land. The cabin sits beneath tall hardwoods and hemlocks, with only the sound of water over stone and wind through the trees. There are just a few summer cabins in sight. Step outside and you're in another time.
